The Wild Blue Bear does NOT accept returns. All sales are final, particularly in the case of cabochons and original work. I make every attempt to accurately represent pieces through clear, accurate photos and descriptions. Please keep in mind that original and hand embellished pieces are unique and one of a kind. It's the responsibility of the purchaser to determine if a piece is right for you prior to payment. If you have questions about a piece, please email me at thewildbluebear@gmail.com ! I am happy to send additional photos, information, and measurements prior to you completing your purchase.

Although all pieces are created with high quality, color fast, archival materials, original artwork and reproductions are sensitive. Extreme temperatures and light, in particular sunlight, are the two greatest threats to the long term safety and quality of your pieces. Moisture and temperature fluctuations can also create conditions that can degrade artwork over time. Avoid direct sunlight, locating art in bathrooms, above sinks and over radiators, for longevity.
A surface level treatment is applied to all silver pieces, resulting in the patina shown in photographs. Patina wears off and timing of this wear is dependent on wear, skin oils, sweat, and frequency of exposure to water, soap and cosmetics. I recommend using a polishing cloth as opposed to liquid jewelry cleaner, so you don't damage the patina or stone.
Some stones (ie Turquoise, Variscite, Opal) are softer than others and can be more sensitive to drops, falls and dings as well as chemicals, cosmetics, and liquids. Chlorine and other chemicals can change and degrade stones and precious metals. In order to ensure the longest life for your pieces, ALWAYS remove jewelry prior to cleaning/washing, bathing, swimming, cooking, etc. Your pieces will last and remain heirloom quality. Pieces with stone should be routinely inspected to ensure the stone remains firmly set. Daily wear of jewelry may require stones to be tightened in the setting. Prongs will also eventually wear down with extended daily use.
